Integrated ICSE Curriculum – Beginners

Our Integrated Beginners programme blends the core principles of Montessori, Waldorf, and the whole-child approach to create a warm and nurturing foundation for learners aged 2.6 to 5.6 years. The curriculum is designed to support the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development of every learner through a thoughtful blend of structure, freedom, and exploration. Each classroom functions as a prepared environment, where the setting is developmentally appropriate, aesthetically calm, and intentionally designed to promote independence, multi-sensorial learning, and nature-based experiences. Carefully curated materials allow young learners to learn at their own pace, make choices, explore deeply, and internalise concepts through hands-on engagement.

Learning in Beginners is joyful and experiential. Learners engage in art, craft, music, yoga, story time, library sessions, sand play, water play, sensorial pathways, and outdoor exploration, all of which build imagination, motor skills, emotional expression, and early academic readiness. The rhythm of the programme allows learners to feel secure and confident while encouraging curiosity and self-expression.

Celebrations, field visits, community events, and carnivals are woven naturally into the three-year journey, giving learners opportunities to interact with the world around them, understand traditions, express themselves creatively, and develop a sense of belonging. With its emphasis on exploration, meaningful relationships, and holistic growth, our Integrated Beginners curriculum lays a strong and joyful foundation for future learning.
